Saint Francis quarterback Joshua Kulka completed 16 of 20 passes for 260 yards and four touchdowns and the Cougars intercepted five Judson throws on the way to a 49-20 victory Saturday at Millennium Field in Streamwood, Illinois.

Since a season-opening loss to Indiana Wesleyan, the Cougars (5-2) are scoring 54.7 points per game. Kulka has thrown 24 touchdown passes against three interceptions in that span, including a combined 14 TDs over the last three games.

Receiver McCall Ray turned in his second straight 100-yard performance with five catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns, giving him four scores over the last two weeks.

The Cougars led 21-0 after the first quarter thanks to three TD passes from Kulka and extended their margin to 28 when Churubusco product Nick Nondorf picked off a pass early in the second quarter and returned it three yards for a touchdown. Nondorf, a junior defensive back, had two interceptions, the first two of his collegiate career.

Former Snider star Jake Burton added a pick-six of his own with a return of 28 yards in the third quarter to make it 42-14.

TRINE 35, OLIVET 28: At Fred Zollner Stadium, Trine (3-3, 1-2 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association) overcame a 14-7 first-half deficit thanks to 175 rushing yards on 18 carries from Saleem Felder and two TD passes from QB Ivyn Collins. Olivet turned the ball over three times.

The Thunder took the lead for good in the third quarter on a 44-yard running back pass from Jermaine Williams to Rashawn Street. Trine snapped a two-game losing streak and will face last-place Calvin at home next week.Ā 

FRANKLIN 49, MANCHESTER 0: At Spartan Stadium, Manchester suffered its sixth straight loss to open the season, with the defeats coming by an average of 31.5 points. The Spartans were outgained 482-100. Running back James Lewis had 12 carries for 41 yards.
