Fort Wayne International Airport on Wednesday unveiled a new restaurant, coffee shop and market area as part of its East Terminal Expansion Project.

app businesses Hop River Brewing and Bon Bonapps Coffee have both opened inside the airport terminal building under Tailwind Hospitality Inc., which does business as Tailwind Concessions and is often referred to as just Tailwind. The company is headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Hop River Brewing and Bon Bonapps Coffee are helping the airportapps continued commitment to offer local dining options in the terminal, a news release said. The new concessions will enhance the passenger experience at the airport.

Tailwind Hospitality brings a appwealth of knowledge in delivering exemplary service as an industry leader in airport concessions, specializing in operating full-service restaurants, bars, retail, and gift shops in airports of similar size,app the release said.

Tailwind currently operates within nearly 60 airports across the country.

The new terminal restaurant area is the first major portion of the East Terminal Expansion to be open to the public.

The space includes open concept seating, a large bar area featuring Hop Riverapps local beer selections, a brand-new kitchen area with all new equipment, a new point of sales system, updated technology, and an open shared counter for easy ordering, the news release said.

A new airport lounge also occupies the area, with an expected opening at a later date.

Scott Hinderman, local executive director of airports, said officials are thrilled to welcome Tailwind Concessions.
