It was a different time in May 1948 when these children of Junior League of Fort Wayne members were playing with puppets as their parents planned a visit by the Tatterman Marionettes of Western College, which was based in Oxford, Ohio. The league was sponsoring a number of shows by the marionette troupe that June at Central High School.
The photos were published May 23, 1948, but an exact date the photos were taken was not listed in appapps archive.
